Selling yellow snow cones on the Slick Rock Trail

This was a side trip over to Moab from Durango during a little X-mas(sacre) vacation

  1. That is beautiful, and to think I was complaining about riding in 45 degrees today.

  2. I want to do Moab in my Jeep sometime in the next couple years. I miss that part of the country. Absolutely beautiful, nothing like it.

  6. Can't a guy just ride a bike and share the pretty pictures with us 'cause he likes it? Why must we get all fucking philosophical about the shit. I smell patchouli.

  7. That was me, I forgot to sign it. Don't want anybody to think I was trying to hide in anonymity.

  8. yeah! can't a guy just ride a bike and share pictures of himself and his bike and talk about himself and his bikes and his bike rides and do nothing but ride a bike and, and, and... and always ride a bike? some guys are just bike-brains i guess, it's category above bird-brain but not by much, and some guys actually have substance.

  9. Dear, Mr. Substance

If you didn't notice this is a blog about my travels on a bike. And yes its a lot about bikes. If you don't know me and don't want to hear about bikes. What are you doing here? This is not a forum for your concieted comments. Why are you even bothering to write these comments? Should you not be out saving the world? In short: Fuck off!

  10. further more...(now that my annoyance has mellowed a litte) I just feel sorry for you that you can not truly see how beautiful bicycles are. One of the best inventions humans have ever created. They can take you anywhere in the world you want to go! In a natural, challenging, exhilarating and truly amazing way. My passion for bicycles extends beyond anything even hited at in this blog. You are not reading product endorsements and all sorts of tec. jargon. This is about exploration of this vibrant planet by human power and yes, bike and, and, and bike.

  11. See Kurt, some things never change. Me and my smart ass sarcastic remarks causing trouble again, without even meaning to. Don't waste time and energy arguing with the ignorant, it doesn't work. The truly stupid are incurable. I think the desire to expand one's horizons and challenge yourself is an innate trait one either has or doesn't. Keep on pedaling, and maybe one of these days I'll run into you on some slickrock. I'll have a cold beer in an icechest in the back of the Jeep if it happens, I am sure. I am not a bicycle guy, but I certainly enjoy seeing and reading about your travels.
